Dr. Sul Ki Yi, a South Korea native, arrived with his parents in El Paso at age 3. In high school, Dr. Yi began his interest in dentistry through volunteering with the Texas Mission of Mercy. After graduating from Coronado High School, Dr. Yi moved to San Antonio and completed his undergraduate studies in biology and chemistry at the University of Texas – San Antonio. While at UTSA, Dr. Yi worked at the San Antonio Christian Dental Clinic (now “Haven for Hope”).
Dr. Yi enrolled at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and joined the Christian Medical-Dental Association to provide services to Texans across the state whom otherwise lacked access to quality dental care. Dr. Yi earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2013 and relocated to the Rio Grande Valley with his wife, an Alamo, Texas native, and registered nurse.
Dr. Yi is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and the Rio Grande Valley Dental Society. Dr. Yi spends his free-time with his family and golfing with his two boys. Maintaining the same exceptional care provided by Dr. Adame and his staff is Dr. Yi’s priority for all patients. Dr. Yi has recently completed the AADSM Mastery course 1 and is an AADSM (American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine) Qualified Dentist for snoring and sleep apnea dental treatment.
