Claudia Pruneda, DDS

Dentist

Dr. Claudia Pruneda was raised in the Rio Grande Valley and graduated from South Texas Health Professions in 2014 where she was first introduced to dentistry. In 2016, she graduated from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley with a Bachelors in Biology and a minor in Spanish. After graduation Dr. Pruneda took some time to get more familiar with the field of dentistry through work and volunteer opportunities before continuing her education.

In 2022, Dr. Pruneda graduated from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery and returned to the Rio Grande Valley to work and be closer to family. Currently she is a member of the Texas Dental Association and Rio Grande Valley Dental Society. Dr. Pruneda enjoys all aspects of dentistry and patient care.

When she’s not working, she spends time with her family and explores new places with her boyfriend Joshua.
